The USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), among other responsibilities, is charged with preventing, controlling, and/or eliminating animal diseases, and monitoring and promoting animal health and productivity. OFW’s attorneys provide advice to clients regulated by APHIS on variety of animal health issues, including APHIS import requirements for animal-derived products, APHIS surveillance programs, emerging animal disease preparedness and response plans, and veterinary biologic requirements.
