Packers & Stockyards Act

OFW understands the complex regulatory environment that packers, poultry processors, dealers, market agencies and stockyards face under the Packers and Stockyards Act. We regularly counsel our clients on compliance with the Act and its regulations, and assist in responding to investigations and Notices of Violation. OFW also represents parties in enforcement actions before the USDA Office of Administrative Law Judges and in federal courts, and maintains contacts with key Packers and Stockyards Division (formerly GIPSA) personnel.
