Appropriations

Our team monitors appropriations activity throughout the entire process, providing pertinent information about the President’s budget request and Congressional consideration. After we get programs authorized in the farm bill, the appropriations process is when we focus on receiving the necessary funding for the programs to run. We report on relevant hearings, assist with the drafting of testimony, and the submission of appropriation requests working with clients to bring specific concerns to the attention of House and Senate appropriators and other key influencers. We have routinely had success in securing specific funding levels and committee report language highlighting individual matters.
