It Is “That” Time of Year
OFW Law provides advice on all aspects of food distribution, including international trade regulations. The food distribution industry is complex including compliance with many requirements including those administered by FDA and USDA to ensure food safety. While we help clients in complying with sanitary transportation requirements, we also assist with customs and border protection compliance and enforcement matters when importing or exporting a food product. OFW Law also advises clients on trade policy and trade requirements including the application of antidumping and countervailing duty laws, the negotiation, implementation and enforcement of trade agreements and treaties, and global compliance issues. We have a unique blend of regulatory, litigation and trade policy experience in the agriculture and food sectors that allows us to not only advise our clients with respect to complex regulatory and transactional issues, but to assess the impact of trade policy considerations on their ability to conduct business internationally.
