Tara Mobaraki’s practice focuses on customs and trade law, intellectual property, and forfeiture and seizures. She brings seven years of federal government experience and a strong background advising on complex regulatory issues, trade matters, and litigation support.
Before joining OFW, Tara served as in-house counsel in the Office of the Chief Counsel within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where she advised on:
Prior to joining CBP, she gained experience at the Office of the United States Trade Representative, where she advised on U.S. trade policy, international trade agreements, maritime law, and the impact of foreign tariffs and trade restrictions. In the context of free trade agreements, she supported enforcement and compliance efforts under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement and contributed to investigations involving labor issues.
Tara provides strategic, solutions-oriented counsel that helps clients translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical guidance, manage risk, and support their business objectives.
