Today, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) published in the Federal Register a final rule that amends relevant FDA regulations in Title 21 of the C.F.R. to change the address of the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN). 81 Fed. Reg. 49894 (Jul. 29, 2016). CFSAN did not actually move its physical location and remains in the Harvey W. Wiley Federal Building in College Park, Maryland. The street, formerly known as Paint Branch Parkway, was renamed “Campus Drive,” and the street number was changed to “5001.” Accordingly, the address has been changed from “5100 Paint Branch Parkway” to “5001 Campus Drive.”
We note that, although the Final Rule is effective today, CFSAN’s address was actually changed on July 1, 2016. Notwithstanding, CFSAN’s main switchboard assured us that any correspondence that was sent to the old address would be forwarded to the new address by its common carriers.
