Five OFW Law Attorneys Named to 2017 Best Lawyers in America for FDA Law

One of OFW Law’s Founding Principals, Richard L. Frank, was recognized as the Health Care Lawyer of the Year in the 2017 Washington, D.C., edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Only a single attorney in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is recognized as a “Lawyer of the Year.” This honor reflects the high level of respect Mr. Frank has earned among his peers in the Health Care Law community.

In all, five attorneys from OFW Law were recognized in the 2017 Washington, D.C., edition of The Best Lawyers in America.  As the firm specializes in representing the food, drug, medical device, and agriculture industries, the attorneys were selected in Best Lawyers’ FDA, Food and Beverage, and Health Care practice areas, respectively, for the DC metropolitan area.

OFW Law Founding Principals Philip C. Olsson and Richard L. Frank, as well as principals Stephen D. Terman, Arthur Y. Tsien and Frederick H. Branding, RPh, were all listed as Best Lawyers for FDA Law.  Mr. Frank was also listed in the Food and Beverage Law practice area.

Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become widely regarded as a reliable guide to legal excellence in the United States.  Best Lawyers rankings are compiled based on an exhaustive peer-review evaluation. For the 2017 edition of Best Lawyers, over 7 million votes were placed by lawyers regarding the legal abilities of other attorneys based on their specific practice areas. Since lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor.
