Our dear colleague and friend, Anson M. Keller, passed away on September 2, 2018, at the age of 82. Anson’s incredible intellect and tenacious spirit made him a pillar of OFW Law’s litigation practice.
Anson joined OFW Law as Counsel during 2009, specializing in environmental and agricultural litigation. Before joining OFW Law, Anson worked at an AmLaw 100 firm and an environmental litigation boutique in Washington, D.C. Previously, he served in the federal government as Associate General Counsel at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and worked at OSHA as a Special Assistant to the Administrator for Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining the federal government, Anson worked at a major New York law firm and focused his practice on cases concerning libel.
Anson was born in Ferguson, Missouri, and graduated from Brown University in 1958. He earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1961. Mr. Keller was a member of the New York and District of Columbia bars.
Though we are deeply saddened by this loss, we know that Anson’s spirit will continue to live on through all of us and we will rejoice in his life and his many contributions.
